Several nationally-recognized curricula guide classroom instruction, and teachers utilize a variety of
instructional methods to teach and challenge the students.
Open Court is a research-based language arts program that is designed to teach students at all levels.  After whole group instruction, students break up
into smaller "workshops" to develop individual skills in reading, writing and vocabulary.

A Beka math is a challenging curriculum that prepares students to excel in math computation as well as in reasoning and problem-solving.

A Reason For Science and A Beka Social Studies allow students to explore the world around them with lots of time for creating, building,
investigating, experimenting and field trips.

The
ACSI Bible curriculum teaches children the foundation of God's Word with application to their everyday lives.

Physical education is taught two times per week and students participate in the Presidential Physical Fitness Initiative. The School is also home to
Upward Children's Basketball League
in the winter.  Dance classes are offered after school through Kish's School of Dance.

A brand new
technology lab will open in the fall of 2008.  Students will begin with keyboarding skills and advance to desktop publishing, spreadsheets,
power point, and website page development.

Music class delights students as they learn the basics of music theory, explore the instruments of the orchestra, and "meet" famous composers.  Fourth
graders participate in recorder class.
Piano lessons are also available after school.

Students also enjoy weekly
library visits and chapel services.

Spanish instruction begins in kindergarten.
