About the School Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Ranson:
I have been a resident of Buckingham county all of my life. I grew up in a large family
full of love for Christ, our family, our neighbors, and our community. I graduated from
Buckingham County High School in 2000 and married my high school sweetheart in
2005. We have 2 wonderful children and enjoy our family time very much.
I earned my Bachelors degree from Longwood University in 2004 in Molecular Biology,
my Master of Teaching degree from the University of Virginia in 2007 in secondary
science education, and my Master of Science degree from Longwood University in
2010 in Guidance and Counseling. I am a life long learner and enjoy watching children
as they discover, investigate, explore, study, and realize the world around them.
I am delighted to be a member of the team of educators at Central Virginia Christian
School. I look forward to getting to know all of the students and parents at CVCS.
